Owen Sherratt

Owen presents the weekday afternoon show from 3pm.

Owen Sherratt is a Gorton resident and a Mancunian through and through! He will accompany you on your journey in music each weekday from 3pm.

He is a giant of a man at 6’9” and with size 15 shoes. Regardless, he squeezes into and drives a Mini Cooper! He has long ginger hair and works each morning with his best mate Sue as a plumber. His flowing locks once had to be shaved off when a can of expanding foam exploded all over him, making him look like a Punk from the 70’s.

    Music, football (Manchester City), his motorhome and a beer in his local.

    Road rage, raspberry coulis and rugby.

    A great fact about Owen is that his Mum lives with him (not the other way around) and as a recompense gets his tea made for him each night.
